AT KINGS SPEEDWAY HANFORD, CA
– JUNE 9, 2013... With temperatures over 100 degrees, the
action was even hotter as Visalia’s Richard Vander Weerd
grabbed his third win of the campaign. The $1,500 USAC West
Coast Sprint Car triumph at Hanford was the eleventh career
victory for the 2011 champion. Point leader Ryan Bernal,
“Hollywood” Danny Faria Jr., Austin Liggett, and fast
qualifier Dennis Howell followed Richard to the checkered

INVADE HANFORD THIS SATURDAY SANTA MARIA, CA – JUNE 4,
2013... After a break in the
schedule, the USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series will
battle this Saturday, June 8th, at Hanford’s Kings
Speedway. The eighth point race of the campaign will
also feature the winged Rebel Cup 360 Sprints, IMCA
Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, and Hobby Stocks. The
Pit Gates will open at 3:30pm, qualifying at 7:00pm,

FEATURE; FARIA WINS POINT BATTLE
HANFORD, CA – MAY 12, 2013... Starting fourteenth,
Hollister’s Ryan Bernal grabbed the lead from Dennis
Howell on lap 37 to claim the “2nd Annual Southwest
Contractors Billet Cup” at Kings Speedway. Bernal
earned $2,300 for scoring his fifth USAC West Coast
Sprint Car victory and “Hollywood” Danny Faria Jr.
won the night’s point chase by a narrow margin. Bud
Kaeding, Dennis Howell, Faria, and Landon Hurst
followed rounded out the top-five drivers in the
