VENTURA’S MARCH 31ST “BATTLE AT THE BEACH” MOVES TO MARCH 24TH By Lance Jennings JANUARY 6, 2018… The March 31st “Battle at the Beach” at Ventura Raceway featuring the USAC West Coast and VRA Sprint Cars has been moved to March 24th. This is due to a scheduling issue with the fairgrounds. The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will host the tenth season opener for the USAC West Coast Sprint Cars on February 28th and March 1st. Held during NASCAR weekend, the non-point “Outlaw Showdown” will also showcase the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars. The USAC Western Awards Banquet (and Roast) will be held Saturday, January 27th at the Orleans Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The hotel will also host a Bowling Tournament the previous night at 8:00pm.
